Drokpo Nepal conducted a "Mental Health Awareness Program for Mothers" at its office, with 16 mothers participating in the three-hour session.

Program Objectives:
- Raise awareness about the importance of mental health in daily life.
- Create a safe space for participants to share their feelings and emotions.
- Provide knowledge on healthy coping mechanisms for negative thoughts and
behaviors.

The program employed various methods, with a special focus on group discussions. By fostering a non-judgmental, safe, and comfortable atmosphere, participants were encouraged to express their emotions and internal struggles.

Interactive activities using chart papers, tape, and noodle sticks were incorporated to engage the mothers. Divided into three groups, the participants effectively engaged in discussions, learning about the link between physical and mental well-being, as well as positive strategies for managing stress, anxiety, and anger. They were also encouraged to share personal challenges with trusted individuals.

At the conclusion, feedback from the mothers highlighted their satisfaction with the program. Many expressed that it provided a much-needed platform to release long-hidden emotions and experiences. They appreciated the opportunity to engage in thoughtful discussions alongside fun activities, which helped them feel a sense of relief and support.

Overall, the program was a resounding success, with participants expressing their gratitude to Drokpo Nepal for organizing such a meaningful and impactful initiative.
